Through my own Journey of Awakening, I began to see life differently. I came to understand Earth as something more than a place we simply live—a place of experience, growth, relationship, discovery, and learning.

Perhaps we're not meant to have all the answers.
Perhaps we're here to keep learning.
Understanding the Soul
One question I often ask people is:
“What do you know about your Soul?”
Across spiritual traditions, people have used many names—Soul, Spirit, Higher Self, Divine Spark—to explore the part of ourselves that may exist beyond personality and physical form.
To me, the Soul is our Eternal Divine Essence—the deepest part of who we are, patiently waiting beneath the noise of life to be remembered.
Perhaps Awakening is not becoming someone new.
Perhaps Awakening is remembering who we have always been.
Natural Law & Universal Truth
The more I reflected upon life, the more I realized that Truth is not something humanity creates. It already exists. Natural Law does not belong to one religion, one nation, or one culture. It belongs to Creation itself.
One principle that resonates deeply with me is the Law of Divine Oneness. Everything is connected. Every thought. Every action. Every act of kindness. Every act of fear. Nothing exists in complete isolation. We are expressions of the same Divine Source, experiencing life from different perspectives. At the deepest level, separation is an illusion. We are One. And because we are connected, nothing we choose exists in isolation.
DIVINE LAW & NATURAL CONSEQUENCES We are free to choose. We are not free from the consequences of our choices. Every choice creates an effect—within us, between us, and around us. What we nurture grows. What we neglect deteriorates. What we consume affects us. How we treat one another shapes our communities. How we treat the Earth shapes what we leave behind.
Call it Divine Law, Universal Law, natural law, cause and effect, or simply consequences. This is not about punishment or condemnation. It is about understanding that what we do matters. Freedom without responsibility is not freedom. It is consequence without consciousness.
Choose consciously.
Personal Growth & Evolution
Growth is not about becoming better than someone else. Growth is becoming more fully ourselves—expanding in Wisdom, Compassion, Understanding, and Awareness. Every stage of life offers another opportunity to become a little more Loving and a little more conscious. My own journey is far from complete. There is always more to learn. More to heal. More to discover. That is one of the greatest gifts of Earth School. Learning never ends.
And if we are all here learning, growing, and evolving, perhaps one of our greatest lessons is learning to recognize the Divine in one another. If God created humanity, are we not all children of God—and what would that mean for how we treat each other? Human dignity comes before our labels. Before Christian, Jewish, Muslim, atheist, American, immigrant, rich, poor, male, female—or any other label—we are human. Our differences do not erase our shared humanity or the Divine within us.
And for those who look to the Bible for authority, the message is there too. Genesis says humanity—male and female—was created in the image of God. Acts describes humanity as God's offspring and says God shows no favoritism. Galatians breaks through the divisions of Jew and Gentile, slave and free, male and female. If every human carries the image of the Divine, then dehumanizing another person is fundamentally incompatible with that Truth. Maybe the question isn't who qualifies as a child of God. Maybe the question is why we were ever taught to believe that some of us don't.
Beyond Religion
My journey has led me to explore many spiritual traditions, and along the way I discovered something beautiful: every culture has searched for Truth, describing it through different symbols, languages, and stories. While our beliefs may differ, our deepest questions are often the same. Who are we? Why are we here? How do we live with greater Love? To me, the Soul existed long before organized religion. Truth is not owned by any institution. The Divine cannot be confined to buildings, doctrines, or labels. The wisdom we seek ultimately lives within.
History also shows us why separating the Divine from human institutions matters. In 1452, Pope Nicholas V issued Dum Diversas, giving the Portuguese crown religious authorization to conquer certain non-Christian peoples, seize their lands and possessions, and reduce them to “perpetual servitude.” Other papal documents followed, supporting European claims over lands and peoples and contributing to what later became known as the Doctrine of Discovery. Slavery existed long before 1452; what makes Dum Diversas significant is that religious authority was used to justify conquest and enslavement.
In 2023, the Vatican formally rejected the Doctrine of Discovery, acknowledged the suffering these ideas helped enable—particularly for Indigenous peoples—and recognized that papal documents had been used by colonial powers to justify immoral acts. History reminds us that an institution speaking in the name of God is not the same as God. Perhaps part of going beyond religion is learning to question human authority, seek Truth for ourselves, and recognize when actions carried out under the banner of God contradict Love, human dignity, and the Divine within us all.
Remembering
I believe humanity is entering a time of great transformation. Many people are questioning what they have always believed and searching for deeper meaning. Perhaps that is not something to fear. Perhaps it is part of remembering—remembering that we are more than our bodies, our careers, our fears, and the labels we have been given.
We are Souls. Ancient. Wise. Connected. Children of the same Divine Source. And with remembering comes responsibility. Divine Law reminds us that choices have consequences. Being Children of God reminds us that every human possesses inherent dignity. History, including Dum Diversas, shows us what can happen when institutions violate that dignity while claiming divine authority.
So perhaps we must be willing to ask difficult questions: What happens when religious authority becomes intertwined with political power, conquest, money, land, and empire? What happens when actions committed under the banner of God contradict the very principle that every human being bears the image of God?
If Earth is truly a school, then even our history can become a teacher. Every experience offers a lesson. Every day gives us another opportunity to question, learn, choose consciously, and become more Loving toward one another. Perhaps Awakening is remembering who we truly are—and then living like we remember.
Redefining Sin
Not a List of Rules Broken ✧
Sin is separation from Truth. It is the moment we forget who we are. The moment we forget that every Soul is Sacred. That every choice sends ripples through the World.
Sin is not about shame. It's about misalignment. It's when we live out of Harmony with Love, with the Earth, with each other, with ourselves.
We've been taught to fear punishment. Yet the true consequence of sin is the pain we create through our disconnection from the Divine.
Healing begins not with judgment — it begins with remembrance. When we remember that we are Light, we find our way back to Truth.
Religious Programming Around Sin
For too long, sin has been used to shame and silence.
True repentance is not fear-based: It is freedom-based. It is the return to your original Light.
Sin is not only personal — it is collective. We are being called to repent, not through punishment, but through transformation.
Grace is not something we earn — it is something we remember. And in forgiving ourselves, we help the World begin to heal!

One of the greatest understandings to emerge from my journey is that nothing exists completely in isolation. Our choices create ripples—how we treat ourselves, one another, and the Earth matters. Whether you understand this through spirituality, Natural Law, cause and effect, or simply the interconnectedness of life, the invitation is the same: Live consciously. Love deeply. Keep learning. If Earth is truly a school, every day offers another opportunity to question, grow, heal, choose differently, and become a little more Loving.
