Sacred Recognition of the Divine Within
"Namaste is more than a word—it's a sacred mirror.
When I say it, I’m recognizing the Divine spark in you as a reflection of the same Light within me.
In that moment, we are One."
— Zoe
Namaste is a Sanskrit word often spoken with
hands at the heart and a gentle bow.
It carries a simple yet profound meaning:
“The Divine in me honors the Divine in you.”
At its root:
– Nama means bow
– As means I
– Te means you
It is more than a greeting—
it's a remembrance that we are all
sacred reflections of one another.
In this space, I bow to your light,
your breath, your being.
May the peace within my Soul
recognize the peace within yours.
Close your eyes.
Place your hands gently over your heart.
Breathe slowly and softly.
Repeat the following silently or aloud:
I honor the Light within me.
I honor the Light within you.
We are not separate—
We are one.
Let each breath draw you inward.
Let each word remind you of your sacred connection to all things.
The sound of the Universe. The breath of all creation.
Together, they unite Body, Mind, and Spirit.
Chanting AUM brings you back into harmony with Source—
into your natural state of peace, awareness, and unity.
– There is nowhere else I need to be.
– There is nothing else I need to do.
– I am all that I need to be.
– I release all that does not serve me.
(Deep breath in… and gently exhale.)
OUR MINDS ARE LIKE AN OCEAN
When we are awake, our awareness stays at the surface—
tossed around by waves of thought.
In meditation, we dive deeper…
to the still, quiet waters beneath the surface—
where peace, clarity, and truth reside.
Mediation can give you a sense of calm, peace and balance. Meditation can also be used to relax and cope with stress by refocusing your attention on something calming! “Mayo Clinic.org”
You are not your thoughts—you are the observer of your mind.
Each time your mind wanders, gently return to your focus.
Be patient. Be kind. You're not failing—you're practicing.
Even a few minutes of presence is powerful. And with time, the noise quiets and clarity emerges.
Let your attention rest softly on...
– Your breath
– A mantra or word
– A visual (like flame or sacred shape)
– Nature (waves, birds, moonlight)
– Music or sound
– The sensations in your body
Find a peaceful space.
Sometimes it’s nice to find a guided meditation online!
Once you get used to it, unplugging from all electronics is highly beneficial!
I Love connecting/meditating in nature!
Sometimes, the greatest clarity comes when we step away from everything else and return fully to ourselves.
